When I saw the listing I thought this had padding in the seat but it doesn't. It's basically comprised of 2 layers. The inside layer is soft and nice to the touch. The outside layer is the compression layer. Between the 2 is where the bones are for your waist. Zipper and hooks function well and make it easy to get into. Sizing guide is accurate and this fit tight but not too tight. Stitching quality is good.What surprised me was how pronounced the booty lift was. Since there's compression everywhere else except the seat, that ruched back seam and softer more elastic fabric in the seat makes your booty look much more impressive than it otherwise might. I'm impressed! Overall this is a well made functional piece of shapewear.
